Bean, Bean the Eating Machine!

Ziko loves to eat and grows impatient when you don't get the food to him fast enough. He eats anything that we put on his "plate"...we're hoping that this is a lasting trend!

We have a nice little slope in our back yard which is great for sliding!

The long lasting frost, coupled with the freshly fallen snow, have turned our yard (and all of Yellowknife) into a winter wonderland!

Ziko is obsessed with Bruce's weights (nothing like the taste of metal)! While he has been "swimming" around on his tummy for some time now, and getting everywhere he needed to go, today he finally took the big leap and started crawling on all fours! Way to go Bean!

Hizee and Ziko have become quite the team. She loves to care for and discipline her baby brother and he couldn't be happier about the situation.

With a two week cold snap finally coming to an end, today was the perfect day for toboganning.

When Bruce suggested that Hizee go in Ziko's high chair and Zam feed her (just like old times), Hizee was very happy to oblige! Hizee is so quick to tell a joke, pull a prank, or to find the humour in situations.

Check out the goalie moves and check out Zam's mini Canada Goose parka. It was quite an investment but we figured that now was the time to invest as it will be passed on to Hizee and Ziko in the future.

Zam and Hizee were completely ecstatic about setting up the Christmas tree. It seems that with each year they experience Christmas they get more excited about it (I guess that makes sense!). Zam kept saying: "Let's just keep doing Christmas things for the whole evening; I want to do more Christmas things!" I'm sure we don't have enough Christmas decorations to suit his liking!

Bruce went up on the roof a couple of weeks ago to clear off some of the accumulated snow and used the opportunity to take a few "ariel" photos. In the back yard you can see Zam standing on our ice rink with his school in the background. In the front/side yard you can see Hizee and I waving behind our two snowmobiles. As you can see, we have quite a lot of snow. It's great...we've really been enjoying it!
