We spent just over two weeks in Manitoba this summer and what an action-packed time it was! It was filled with plenty of fun and sun, weddings, and nice long visits. The kids had a beyond-joyous reunion with their cousins: together they played, swam, jumped on trampolines, and just plain enjoyed one another’s company. One could say that our holiday was a time of intense bonding with…

Thank you, everyone, for helping us to have such a great holiday in Manitoba. We love you!

After Lac St. Anne we journeyed to Edmonton for 3 more days of fun and adventure. Highlights: toy stores, water park, amusement park (Hizee rode the carousel for basically one whole day in five ride intervals)
Lowlights: we all had a wicked 10 hour stomach virus (at different times throughout the 3 days) – pity the maids who were in charge of cleaning our hotel rooms when we left!

We have just returned from a three week extravaganza of a holiday and are ever-so-slowly adding some snapshots to our blog.
We kicked off our travels in Lac St. Anne, Alberta where we attended an annual First Nations Catholic pilgrimage. It is here where we connected with many of our friends from Lac Brochet Manitoba. It was an amazing, jam-packed event and it was even more amazing to see our friends…some of whom we hadn’t seen in almost two years! Zam and Hizee were especially ecstatic about seeing their good pal Nikita and packed in hours of intense play!
More pictures of the Edmonton/Winnipeg/Altona portion of our holiday to come…
