Hi Diane and Ann (and to any other Lac Ladies who may be looking at this)! It was sure great talking to you guys on the phone yesterday. Here's a few pictures for you...wish we could go for some picnics together again!

Hizee started pre-school last Thursday and here she is one her first big day! She was completely ecstatic about the whole process and threw a temper tantrum when she couldn't go to school again the next day. Her classroom is right across the hall from Zam's classroom and Zam mentioned that he peeked in to check up on her during the afternoon.
Hizee will be going to pre-school one afternoon per week.

Introducing...Charleigh!

Charleigh (pronounced Charle) is the newest member of our seem-to-be-ever-growing pet family! She is a super kind and gentle eight and a half year old airdale terrier cross whom we adopted from the SPCA. Charleigh had been with the same owner her whole life but the lady was elderly and ill and could no longer care for her. Charleigh is a dream dog (she's a real "people dog") -- she is gentle with the kids, is a low-key lounger around the house, and is a great walker on the leash. We feel so lucky to have her!

Hizee is in love.

Hizee is a true animal lover. A couple of months ago(long before we got Charleigh) I asked Hizee what she wanted to be when she grew up and she told me she wanted to be "a doctor for dogs." Charleigh can be her first patient!

Charleigh is so gentle and calm that even Zam and Hizee can walk her.
