"The Ratties" A.K.A Sunshine and Rascus

While the appeal of the rats has long been lost on Zam, our whimsical, spirited Hizee Ann has become a hard-core rat lover! Whenever I can't find her in the house I just go to the "rat room" and there she is staring lovingly at her "ratties." She does show them some rather "though love" but the pocket hideout seems to fit the needs of both parties -- Hizee can still see and touch her rat (Sunshine) and the Sunshine has a place to hide if the going gets rough.
